Marietjie and Charles Kelbrick relocated to George in 2003. After a decade of experience and managing a Bed & Breakfast in Queenstown for the largest part, we decided to continue with our passion by making Whispering Oaks Guesthouse one of the finest places to visit in George.

Marietjie’s love for antique furniture can be observed throughout the house. Her eye for detail and perfection ensures a heartfelt stay and a delicious a la carte breakfast is served each morning in the dining room with its old fashioned style and elegance.

Our large collection of original art can be enjoyed by everyone. This includes some of Marietjie's own work and a portrait of our grandchildren hangs proudly in every room named after them.

Charles is a keen bowler and is always willing to take friends along! We love to show guests around and share all the little secrets from this side of paradise.
